Alicia Ruth Arenas, Appellant v. Marco Antonio Arenas, Appellee

FROM THE DISTRICT COURT OF COMAL COUNTY, 274TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT
NO. C2016-0657B, HONORABLE JACK H. ROBISON, JUDGE PRESIDINGMEMORANDUM OPINION

Appellant Alicia Ruth Arenas appeals from the final divorce decree signed by the trial court on May 13, 2015, as well as a related judgment signed June 9, 2015, and a writ of garnishment proceeding. Notice of appeal was due 30 days from the date of the decree. See Tex. R. App. P. 26.1. Appellant filed her notice of appeal May 31, 2016. Because the notice of appeal was not timely filed, this Court does not have jurisdiction over the appeal. Accordingly, we dismiss the appeal for want of jurisdiction. See id. R. 42.3(a).

The writ of garnishment was nonsuited on June 27, 2016. --------
