OPINION AND ORDER
On June 13, 2006, the Magistrate Judge issued a Report and Recommendation recommending that petitioner's request for a stay of proceedings, Doc. No. 2, and respondent's request for a stay or dismissal of petitioner's claims be DENIED, and that respondent be DIRECTED to provide supplemental briefing regarding the merits of petitioner's claims, and a copy of the state trial transcript within twenty (20) days of the date of this order.
Although the parties were specifically informed of their right to object to the Report and Recommendation, and of the consequences of their failure to do so, there has nevertheless been no objection. The Report and Recommendation is ADOPTED and AFFIRMED. Petitioner's request for a stay of proceedings, Doc. No. 2, and respondent's request for a stay or dismissal of petitioner's claims are DENIED. Respondent is DIRECTED to provide supplemental briefing regarding the merits of petitioner's claims, and a copy of the state trial transcript within twenty (20) days of the date of this order.
On August 8, and August 9, 2006, respondent filed a supplemental response and copy of the state trial transcript. Doc. Nos. 15-20.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
