HECTOR ENRIQUE ALVARADOFLORES, Appellant v. THE STATE OF TEXAS, Appellee

On Appeal from the Criminal District Court No. 4 Dallas County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. F19-11994

ORDER

NANCY KENNEDY, JUSTICE

Before the Court is the motion of counsel Sam C. Adamo for appellant. The motion states that Mr. Adamo will substitute as counsel for appellant's appointed counsel. We DENY the motion without prejudice because Mr. Adamo has failed to comply with Texas Rule of Appellate Procedure Rule 6.5(b).

The Rules of Appellate Procedure require substitute counsel to deliver the motion to the party in person or through mail--both by certified and by first-class mail--to the party at the party's last known address. See Tex. R. App. P. 6.5(b).
