ORDER

The motion for an order for Court Reporter Laurie Jefferson (R 6909) to show cause is GRANTED. Court Reporter Jefferson hereby is ordered to SHOW CAUSE why the notice of filing transcript for hearing date April 6, 2023, has not been properly filed in 20-016562-CB, despite repeated requests.

If a copy of the notice of filing transcript in 20-016562-CB or the transcript itself is not filed with the Clerk's Office of the Court of Appeals by October 24, 2023, Court Reporter Jefferson and a representative of Court Reporting Services must appear before the Court of Appeals in its courtroom on the 14th floor of Cadillac Place, 3020 West Grand Boulevard, Detroit, on November 9, 2023, at 10 a.m. to explain why said transcript was not filed in the proper circuit court file and to further explain why the reporter is not in contempt of this Court. The Clerk of the Court is directed to arrange remote participation upon request.

A copy of this order will be transmitted to Third Judicial Circuit Court Chief Judge Patricia P. Fresard; Third Judicial Circuit Court Civil Division Presiding Judge Leslie Kim Smith; Judge Brian R. Sullivan; Robin Clear, SCAO; and Third Judicial Circuit Court Director, Case Processing and Court Reporting Services Tammi Palmer.
