ORDER

The Court having considered the joint petition of the Attorney Grievance Commission of Maryland and the Respondent, Arnold V. Hawkins, to disbar the Respondent from the practice of law in the State of Maryland indefinitely, it is this 16th day of April, 2002,

ORDERED, by the Court of Appeals of Maryland that the joint petition be, and it is hereby GRANTED, and the Respondent, Arnold V. Hawkins, is disbarred from the practice of law in the State of Maryland indefinitely, the disbarment to commence immediately; and it is further

ORDERED, that the Clerk of this Court shall strike the name of Arnold V. Hawkins from the register of attorneys and shall certify that fact to the Trustees of the Clients' Security Trust Fund and the Clerk of all judicial tribunals in this State.
