OPINION AND ORDER DISMISSING PETITION FOR REMOVAL

KATHERINE WILLIAMS DODD, COMMISSIONER

On May 2, 2024, a workers' compensation administrative law judge (WCJ) issued an order setting this matter for trial. On May 3, 2024, applicant filed a petition for removal in response to the order. On May 29, 2024, the WCJ issued an order taking the matter off calendar after approving a settlement of the parties on this case.

Accordingly, the petition for removal is now moot, and we will dismiss the petition.

For the foregoing reasons, IT IS ORDERED that the Petition for Removal is DISMISSED.
