ABRAMOWITZ (CARY DAVID) v. S.C. (PEOPLE)

E068714 Fourth Appellate District, Div. 2

Petition for review granted; transferred to Court of Appeal, Fourth Appellate District, Division Two, with directions to issue an order to show cause

The petition for review is granted. The matter is transferred to the Court of Appeal, Fourth Appellate District, Division Two, with directions to vacate its order denying the petition for writ of prohibition and to issue an order directing respondent court to show cause why petitioners are not entitled to the relief requested based on their claims that (1) the indictment failed to provide constitutionally adequate notice of the charges against them; and (2) the indictment improperly aggregated multiple acts into single counts. The request for stay is denied without prejudice to petitioners renewing the request in the Court of Appeal.

Votes: Cantil-Sakauye, C. J., Chin, Corrigan, Liu, Cuéllar, and Kruger, JJ.
